Email Delivery Confirmation
How to be SURE your email message was delivered
Have you ever sent out an email message and wondered if it made it to your recipient? Our delivery confirmation system tells you whether or not the destination email server received your email. In addition, if the end user supports images in their email we can tell you the date and time that they opened it.
The first part of our delivery confirmation does not rely on any special technology. All email servers use a standard protocol called SMTP to accept and deliver email. So, at the very least we can tell you that your email made it to the destination server.
The second part requires that the destination email have the ability to show html content. By inserting an image link into the email we can force the user to connect to us when they open the email in order to get the image read. That connection tells the server when the message was first opened.
Our system allows you to choose between server confirmation and the option of adding opened email message email delivery confirmation. The image can be your company logo or anything else of your choice.
