This anti-spam technology blocks spam by only allowing authenticated email.

It nearly 100% protects users against spam, which is better than any other solution out there. It also allows users to be able to get access to the email in case it is not spam. As we all have experienced, "Black-lists" block email and the recpients do not even know they are not getting the email. All the while this solution does not punish innocent business for sending out legitimate emailings.

This solution is very similar to email address confirmation systems you have seen on web sites requiring a login. The difference is that in most cases a legitimate sender does not have to take any action other than opening an email. In some rare cases they may have to hit reply/send to an email (written in the users words) to be authenticated. Any email sent by a user is whitelisted so that return correspondence does not have to go through authentication. Users can blacklist email they do not wish to receive even if it gets authenticated.

We use a combination of our source authentication technology (authenticating sending addresses), whitelists, blacklists (not the IP kind), and SPF.
